The Outstanding Rohingyas’ Problems might be Solved Conventionally

The responses of UNHCR and Resettlement Countries; “resettlement is depend on various resettlement countries, not by UNHCR” and “our state has already welcomes refugees regardless of race, religion, colour or rank. Please, approach to frontier UNHCR, UNHCR itself can be consider in the context of this quota”, bring puzzling and conspiracy for the plight of Rohingya refugees in Malaysia.

The numbers of resettlement up to year 2010 from 2000 figured about 43,000 according to provided here;

In this numbers, Rohingya just numbered to less than 250 in ten years following reports of Malaysian home minister and Flight Cycle of Rohingy. Despite UNHCR itself understood that resettlement is only a durable option for de-facto stateless Rohingya refugees, Rohingyas are often pointed as an affiliation group to Malay and bureaucratically paved for repatriation. While recognized groups of Burma are easily relocated to third country.

It seen many refugees were getting release out from detention but refugees living in farer areas are continuously sweeping by operations. The measure of equal treatment in UNHCR facilities includes registration, recognition, assistance and resettlement are in upset position.

Rohingya refugees in Malaysia opposes RI report:

Refugees International (RI) has released reports are being different for one situation will be told how conspiracy. Like wise, one is-“Malaysia: Burmese Chin Refugees on the Run” and another one for Rohingya is-“Malaysia: Invest in Solutions for Refugees”.

RI didn’t know about why the immigration director Dt’ Isak was removed from the post after strong tied with UNHCR. Area based Rohingya refugee representatives say they are very disappointed with UNHCR for about hundred awaiting for resettlement cases have been stopped and planing again to push them into tempo-solution. So, they are going to organize to submit a memo to UNHCR. They also say RI’s recommendations are unworkable and regardless of their situation. Therefore they would urge the outstanding Rohingya refugees’ problems to be solved through conventionally.

RI report released for Bangladesh expressed Bangladesh government is restricting Aid and welfare projects. RI did not discover it is political motivation or not. If not, how could the country which depending alone on foreign’s funds, dare to stop Aid for the others.
